Who is Sally Ingraham and How Her Services
Will Benefit Your Child?
I have been working in the education profession since 1987 when I began as a Substitute Teacher's Assistant at the Merced County Office of Education. This gave me the motivation to go back to college where I completed my M.S. Degree in Educational Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Service Credential in 1995. I became a School Counselor, the first Counselor at Valley Community School. To broaden my counseling experience, I became employed with the Merced Union High School District where I served as a Guidance Counselor at Atwater High School for one year then nine years at Golden Valley High School. This truly enriched my counseling background.
After ten years, I completed my Preliminary Administration Credential in 2006 and accepted a position as Program Specialist with Merced County Office of Education in the Career and Alternative Education Department, supervising two County Youth Programs, YOP and Empower. I recently have completed course work and practicum hours clearing all requirements for a California Administration Credential.
There are many demands on the public school system and I believe my assistance to clients will foster a good partnership with personnel at our local districts and schools. This collaboration will create a positive educational experience for the client. As a community member, it is important, and my personal desire, to see all students grow and succeed.
This is why working independently as an Educational & Career Counselor is important to me. "Start the Steps for Success" Experience Educational and Career Counseling. My mission is to assist my clients in achieving Personal, Educational and Career goals, which will enable them to achieve a prosperous and positive life.
